Charlottesville, VA – September 17, 2013: Eric Trump, EVP of Development & Acquisitions at the Trump Organization and President of Trump Winery, is nominated for Wine Enthusiast's "Rising Star" category for the 2013 Wine Star Awards to be held in New York City on January 27, 2014.
Trump Winery, Virginia's largest vineyard, led by Eric Trump, has made milestones since it opened in October 2011. In just two years, the winery has managed to undertake massive remodeling projects, establish distribution in twenty states, and export to three countries, all while elevating the integrity of the wine. In May 2013, Trump winery received a 91 point rating from Wine Enthusiast for the Sp Reserve making it Virginia's highest rate wine in history. The wines has also received numerous gold medals at the nation's top wine competitions including San Francisco International, San Diego International, International Eastern, and Finger Lakes International to name a few. The winery also received top honors for Sp Blanc de Blanc winning "best of sparkling" at the Jefferson Cup Invitational in 2012.
