Terry McAuliffe and Ken Cuccinelli won't be the only names on the ballot for governor two months from now.
Libertarian nominee Robert Sarvis is also seeking the state's highest office. Sarvis is the only third party candidate.
He is also the only candidate who attended the Charlottesville Pride Festival Saturday.
"I'm the only candidate out there positive proactively fighting for the recognition of same-sex marriages. It's a real honor to be allowed to participate in the event," Sarvis said.
Sarvis says same-sex marriage is a personal issue for him. His own marriage, which is biracial, was illegal in Virginia 50 years ago.
