After coming back from a three goal deficit in the final seven minutes of play, UVa Men's soccer dropped its second ACC game of the year to #15 Wake Forest 3-2 Friday night at Spry Stadium in Winston-Salem, NC.
Virginia (1-3, 0-2 ACC) out-shot the Demon Deacons (3-1, 2-0) 20-14 but made critical defensive mistakes that cost them the match.
Eric Bird and Bryan Lima both scored late for the 'Hoos.
Virginia starts a three-match homestand Tuesday (Sept. 17) when it plays host to George Mason at 7 p.m. at Klöckner Stadium.
