The case against a woman charged with first-degree murder in Charlottesville is going to trial.
Wanda Turner was in Charlottesville Circuit Court Monday morning for a pre-trial motions hearing. Aside from murder, she's also charged with robbery and credit card forgery.
Police say Turner killed Robert "Eddie" Snead inside his apartment on Fairway Avenue in March 2011. They say she knew Snead and the two used to live near each other.
Turner was originally charged with second-degree murder, but in October 2012 a grand jury upped the charge to murder in the first degree.
Her trial is scheduled for November 18.
