Augusta Health Opening Two New Valley Facilities

Posted: Updated:

Augusta Health is expanding to meet the needs of the community. The Fishersville hospital is opening up two clinics in the Shenandoah Valley, one in Waynesboro at an old car dealership and the other in Stuarts Draft off Route 340.

The clinics will have primary care as well as urgent care physicians, labs in-house and medical imaging.

A community health needs assessment identified gaps in accessible care.

"The community is very diverse so there were pockets of needs to access to primary care especially," said Lisa Schwenk, director of communications and public relations for Augusta Health.

The Waynesboro clinic is expected to be done this fall, the Stuarts Draft clinic, a year from now.
