One of the dogs available for adoption at Pampered Pets.
A pet grooming business is lending a helping hand to the Charlottesville Albemarle SPCA.
The SPCA is packed with pups and out of kennel space for eight of its dogs. Pampered Pets in Charlottesville is housing the dogs until they are adopted into forever homes.
Pampered Pets owner Jim Brown says he's happy to take in the dogs and looks forward to seeing them go to good homes. "We're making this site be available for people that are interested in coming to see the dogs and potentially taking them out and seeing if the dog would be a good fit for them," he stated.
The eight dogs housed at Pampered Pets can be adopted for $40, more than half off the regular adoption fee. All adoptions include spay or neuter, de-worming and heartworm testing.
Pampered Pets is located at 601 Concord Avenue in Charlottesville. They can be reached by calling 434-293-PETS.
