Quintin Hunter Hoping for a Big Senior Season at JMU
Former Orange County High School football star Quintin Hunter is entering his senior season at JMU and he's taking on a bigger role this year.
Hunter is listed as both a quarterback and receiver but he'll likely be catching the ball a lot this season in what he thinks will be a more wide open offense.
Hunter says, "It feels great knowing that we're going to spread the ball, that's what we've been told. We're going to see be that running team but I think we're going to spread it out a little more. Me being a senior, this is my last go-round so every day you have to take advantage, trying to get better."
Hunter played in all 11 games last year at wide receiver for the Dukes after redshirting in 2011. He had 186 yards receiving including his first college touchdown at Villanova.
Hunter also says he's become a leader mentoring some of JMU's younger receivers.
