Charlottesville Police Investigating Pair of Robberies

Charlottesville police are trying to determine if there's a connection between a pair of overnight robberies within a block of each other.

The first was around 10:40 p.m. in the 100 block of West Jefferson Street. Police say a 21-year-old man was robbed of his cash.

Then around 1 a.m., a man and woman were walking on Second Street Northeast when a man robbed them of money and belongings.

No weapons were displayed in either case and no one was hurt.
