Culpeper Police Looking for Man who Allegedly Stole Money from Safeway

Culpeper police are looking for a man who allegedly stole money from a grocery store in May.
On Friday, May 24 at 5 a.m., a man walked into the Safeway at the Southgate Shopping Center, opened a cash register and took off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Police say he left the parking lot in a dark blue vehicle.

Culpeper Police are asking for the public's help identifying a white male who allegedly stole money from a cash register in May.
Police are looking for a white male, who was wearing a camouflage baseball cap, dark blue hoodie, blue jeans and tan work boots. The man appears to have blonde hair.
The person of interest entered the Safeway grocery store in Southgate Shopping Center about 5 a.m., Friday, May 24, and after pulling his hoodie over his ball cap headed toward a register. He allegedly attempted to open that register but was unsuccessful. He then headed to another register, which he allegedly opened and removed an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man then left store in a small dark blue vehicle. Surveillance video at the front door provides the best glimpse of the man without the hood over his head.
