A new book in the works by a University of Virginia political analyst could shed new light on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
"The Kennedy Half Century" takes a look at the presidency, assassination and lasting legacy of the president.
Author Larry Sabato says he and his team spent five years investigating and interviewing people connected to the assassination and administration.
"For people in my generation and older it was our 9/11. The whole world came to a stop on that day and it had long-lasting effects on the country and the world," Sabato said.
The final revisions are being completed and the book will come out in October.
November will mark the 50th anniversary of the assassination.
