Two Suspects Arrested in String of Albemarle Car Break-Ins

The Albemarle County Police Department has arrested two individuals in connection to larcenies from vehicles which took place all across Albemarle County. The larcenies began in April and continued through July.
Anthony Allen Timberlake, 23 years old from Crozet, was arrested on Wednesday, July 24th, 2013. Timberlake was charged with two counts of felony larceny and one felony count of breaking and entering. He is being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail without bond.
Dequintan Rasheem Cutchin, 22 years old from Charlottesville, was arrested on Thursday, July 25th, 2013. Cutchin was charged with two misdemeanor counts of larceny and one felony count of breaking and entering. He is being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail with a $5,000 bond.
Through investigative procedures, detectives were able to link these individuals to a series of larcenies from residential neighborhoods. Cash and electronics were taken from the vehicles, most of which were unlocked at the time.
Timberlake and Cutchin are also charged in connection to a burglary in Crozet. The burglary took place in June and cash, electronics and personal items were taken from a home. The investigation is on-going with additional charges pending.
