A Greene County man spent his entire life collecting Indian artifacts, now they are on display for the entire community.
Elwood Deane has more than 1,000 arrowheads. He says the Rapidan River is one area he loved to hunt for artifacts when he was younger.
"I find them most, better huntings, along the river banks, close to the river because I think that's where the Indians done most of their hunting," Deane said.
Almost all of the artifacts are from Greene County. If you're interested in checking them out, call the Greene County Department of Tourism to set up an appointment.
