Woman Injured During Kitchen Fire in Charlottesville
Rescue crews on scene at Longwood Drive
A woman was treated for minor burns after a kitchen fire Tuesday morning at a home on Longwood Drive in Charlottesville.
The fire broke out shortly before 11 a.m. and was out by the time emergency crews arrived.
Investigators say the fire was accidental.

City fire units on scene at 119 Longwood Drive with a kitchen fire. Units arrived and had smoke conditions and the fire was out. The units performed a primary and secondary search of the dwelling. The interior crews checked for extension and ventilated. There was one female patient with minor burns that was transported to the hospital for evaluation by Charlottesville-Albemarle Rescue Squad. City Fire Marshal's office on scene doing investigation at this time.
