Staunton's first murder case in several years is moving ahead to a grand jury. Steven Glenn Moore, 61, faces first-degree murder and gun charges.
His wife of 25 years took the stand Friday in Staunton General District Court and told the court that she witnessed her husband shoot her boyfriend.
Moore and his wife were estranged.
Police accuse Moore of gunning down Van Wesley Bell III, 51, during an argument at Bell's home in March.
This comes after the judge denied bond Thursday.
