A man was attacked by a bull and rushed to a hospital Friday morning. It happened just after 7:15 a.m. at a Louisa County farm.
Police say the man was 53 years old and other people working at the farm say he was in a bull pen working with the animal when it attacked him. The man is a worker at Burnley Farm off of James Madison Highway in Gordonsville.
He was flown to the University of Virginia Medical Center just after 8:30 a.m.
The victim's current condition is unknown atthis time, however police say he was awake and talking when they arrived onscene.
The Sherriffs Office tells us he faces internal injuries, although it's unclear how severe.
Police will not release the name of the man until his family has been notified.
