A man is dead after two jet skis collided at Lake Anna Tuesday.
The accident happened around 9 a.m. near the Dukes Creek Marina. Virginia Department of Game and inland Fisheries spokesman Ron Messina says the 23-year-old man was killed when a jet ski driven by his 19-year-old brother launched into the air and struck the other man, causing a head injury. Both men had been jumping waves behind a pontoon boat.
People on a pontoon boat helped get the victim to shore.
The 23-year-old was taken to Mary Washington Hospital, where he later died. Police are not releasing the victim's name at this time.
