University of Virginia senior forward Akil Mitchell has a broken right hand, and will miss the next 4-to-6 weeks.  

Mitchell suffered the injury at the LeBron James skills camp in Las Vegas.  

The 6-foot-8 forward was second on the team in scoring at 13.1 points per game last season, and averaged a team-leading 8.9 rebounds.  

Mitchell is expected to be ready in time for the start of the regular season.
