Albemarle Supervisors Appoint Interim Board Member
William Petie Craddock
Albemarle County supervisors have picked an interim member to fill a seat left vacant by Chris Dumler.
They decided unanimously Wednesday night to appoint William Petie Craddock to take over Dumler's seat. Craddock, an Independent, was one of 10 candidates vying for the position.
Although he won't be staying for long, he says he is ready to help Scottsville bounce back.
"I'm just overwhelmed that the supervisors thought enough of my abilities that and myself to come up with a unanimous vote, which I'm sure was hard, there were a lot of good candidates out there," Craddock said.
