Cynthia Neff DUI Trial Continued

Posted: Updated:

The DUI trial for former Albemarle Democratic Party Vice Chair Cynthia Neff will have to wait. Neff appeared in Albemarle Circuit Court Tuesday for a scheduled hearing.

She was arrested and charged with driving under the influence in October. Albemarle police say an officer pulled her over after he observed her driving erratically along Route 29. They say she failed the field sobriety tests and admitted she had a few glasses of wine at an art fundraiser that evening.

The court continued the bench trial, but did confirm four witnesses Tuesday afternoon.

Neff will be back in court on July 30.
