Virginia Mother Charged After Infant Boy Left in Hot Car Dies
Police charged the woman Saturday with felony child neglect.
A Virginia mother has been
arrested and is facing felony charges after her eight-month-old baby died alone
in a hot car.
Alexandria police say
32-year-old Zoraida Magali Conde Hernandez drove to work Friday and forgot she
had her son in the car.
It was not until she left
work later that day that she saw her baby in the car.

Police advise parents to
be extra careful during these hot summer months.
"Slow down and be
careful. Try not to let things get too busy. I don't know why and we don't know
why at this point, what led to her mistake or failure," said Lieutenant
Mark Bergin of the Alexandria Police Department.
Police charged the mother Saturday with
felony child neglect.
