The Local Food Hub just hung out its shingle in downtown Charlottesville.
The not-for-profit opened its administrative office in downtown Charlottesville earlier this year, and on Wednesday it officially put up its sign.
The Local Food Hub works to help link farmers with retailers. Director Emily Manley says the new location just makes good sense.
"It gets us out into the community and helps us connect with our partners and meet with our donors and board of directors," Manley said.
Manley says the office has an added benefit. People just walking down the street who see the sign are stopping by to find out what the Local Food Hub is all about.
