Man Arrested After $200K Worth of Marijuana Seized from Orange Home

An Orange County man faces
a slew of charges after a marijuana bust.
Members of the Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force and Orange County Sheriff's Office say they seized $234,500 worth of
marijuana from Kurt Rohling's home in Unionville.
Along with the marijuana, investigators say
they found smoking devices, guns and ammo.

On Tuesday, July 2, 2013 the Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force (BRNGTF), in conjunction with the Orange County Sheriff's Office executed a narcotics search warrant at the residence of Kurt Rohling located in Unionville, VA (Orange County) and seized $234,500 worth of Marijuana. Items seized from the residence included sixty-seven (67) Marijuana plants, grow materials, smoking devices, scales, eleven (11) firearms and ammunition.
Rohling, 48 years old was arrested at his residence on Magnolia Ridge Drive in Unionville and charged with Possession with the Intent to Sell, Give, or Distribute more than Five (5) Pounds of Marijuana. Additional charges are pending in this ongoing BRNGTF investigation.
The Blue Ridge Narcotics and Gang Task Force is Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force responsible for narcotic and gang investigations in the counties of Culpeper, Fauquier, Greene, Madison, Orange and the towns of Culpeper and Orange. It is comprised on Detectives and Investigators from the aforementioned Sheriff's Offices, Town Police Departments and Special Agents from the Virginia State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation Drug Enforcement Section.
