The Valley Baseball League announced its All-Star selections Tuesday.
The Generals and the Braves are each sending five players to the mid-summer classic.
Waynesboro outfielder JoJo Woods is batting .293 with a team best eighteen runs and ten stolen bases.
Shortstop Tyler Bocock is seventh in the league with a .355 average.
Pitchers Chad Farmer and Josh Thorne are also going for Waynesboro, along with outfielder Brian Beard.
Staunton first baseman James Vasquez has a league-best 33-runs batted in, and is hitting .302.
Catcher Bryant Hayman leads the league with seven home runs.
The junior from Valdosta State is batting .296, and is second behind Vasquez with 26 RBI.
The Braves' Hayman and Vasquez are joined on the All-Star team by pitcher Max Povse, second baseman Phil Lipari, and outfielder Blake Sipe.
The All-Star celebration is Sunday in Harrisonburg.
The Home Run Derby is at 5:20 PM, with the first pitch scheduled for 7:30 PM.
