(Charlottesville, Virginia – July 2) The Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce today announced the application deadline for Leadership Charlottesville has been extended to July 15th.

"I was thrilled to be accepted into the Leadership Charlottesville program. My expectations were exceeded ten-fold. Not only did I meet many new wonderful people with whom I developed personal and professional relationships, but I learned so much about this wonderful community we are so fortunate to live in, and how I can contribute my gifts and talents to make it a better place for us all. Leadership Charlottesville is a well-organized, well-run program, which is a benefit to its participants and the community at large" said Molly Akeel, Independent Consultant with Tastefully Simple; Leadership Charlottesville Class of 2013.

To date the Chamber has received approximately forty (40) applications and is looking to broaden the selection into the new class.
