WAYNESBORO, Va. (AP) - A former manufacturing site in Waynesboro is being revived by new owners.

VM Acquisition Waynesboro plans to use a portion of the former Virginia Metalcrafters building for metal craft work.

VM Acquisition Waynesboro is a group of 3 businessmen from Harrisonburg - John Hall, Christopher Mast and Paul Cline.

Mast tells The News Leader that the group is still working on plans for the building. But some space already has been leased by two specialty woodworkers.

The group also has a company in Harrisonburg that produces electric candle lighting systems for historic buildings. They plan to shift some of the work to Waynesboro.

Virginia Metalcrafters closed in 2006.
