PVCC Holds Information Session for New Culinary Arts Program
Eric Breckoff speaking at the information session.
Prospective students are getting a taste of what Piedmont Virginia Community College's new culinary arts program will be like.
The school held an informational session Saturday morning for people interested in the new associate degree program.
The session featured a presentation with information about classes, required uniform and supplies, and details for registration.
"No other program has received this type of attention from people in the community, so we're very optimistic and we're also looking for very long-term existence here that we're able to go ahead and provide a curriculum that people here in the greater Charlottesville area are looking for and want," Eric Breckoff, an associate professor at PVCC, said.
Prospective culinary students now need to sign up for one of five advising sessions in July.
