Tyler Wilson is joining his former Cavalier teammate, Jarrett Parker, in Richmond this week, as Wilson is in town with the Bowie Baysox to take on the Flying Squirrels.
The Baysox are the Double-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles, who drafted Wilson in the 10th round in 2011.
Wilson pitched five shutout innings in a 1-0 win for Bowie in Game Two of the series.
He has three wins in four starts since being promoted to Double-A.
Wilson playing at Midlothian High School before spending four years at UVa, and says it's nice to come Home.
"It's been great," says Wilson. "I've had the chance to spend some time with family, and close friends I haven't seen in a while. People from Charlottesville, people from Midlothian, all over the place. It's great to be back and play in front of those guys again, and really just get out there."
