The Waynesboro Police Department has arrested a Waynesboro man on charges stemming from couple of violent incidents that happened earlier in the year. On June 23, officers arrested Michael Anthony Foreman, 18 years old, on two felonies and one misdemeanor charge at his residence. Foreman is charged with burglary and misdemeanor assault from an incident on February 5, when he forced his way into an apartment at Brandon Ladd Apartments and assaulted the 22 year old female resident. A sixteen year male juvenile has also been charged in that attack. The juvenile was also taken into custody on June 23.
Foreman is also charged with one count of strong armed robbery that arose from a May 15 incident near Mountain View Apartments, when he robbed a sixteen year old male juvenile at knifepoint of $600. The victim in the robbery case is not the same juvenile who is Foreman's codefendant in the burglary & assault case.
In both cases, Foreman was known to his victims.
Foreman is being held without bond at Middle River Regional Jail. The juvenile is being held at the Shenandoah Valley Juvenile Detention Center.
