Supervisors in Greene will introduce their new county administrator Tuesday night. The board is appointing John Barkley to the position.
He replaces Barry Clark, who resigned unexpectedly last July.
Barkley has spent the past several years as town manager in Round Hill, Virginia.
In a statement released Monday, Greene County's board chairman touts Barkley's experience, management style, and proactive engagement with the community.
Barkley officially begins his job in Greene County on July 8.
