Police Release Photo of United Bank Robbery Suspect

Charlottesville police have released a photo of a suspect in Monday's robbery of United Bank in downtown Charlottesville.

The man of interest is Richard Nelson Hawkins, III. He is also known as "Squirrel."

Hawkins is 37 years old, is five feet, eight inches, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of a turtle on his right shoulder and two piercings in his left ear.

His last known address is 1312 Early Street in Charlottesville.

The United Bank was robbed just before 5 p.m. at the United Bank on Monday night. A cab company owner in Charlottesville told NBC29 that the suspect may have used one of his cabs as a getaway.
