Crozet Community Members to Review Pedestrian Improvement Request

Posted: Updated:

Wednesday, Crozet community members will review a request to the county and Virginia Department of Transportation for pedestrian improvements along a developing stretch of Route 250.

The Crozet Community Advisory Council is considering a resolution asking Albemarle County supervisors and the state make immediate safety improvements between Clover Lawn and Radford Lane. That's at the Harris Teeter shopping center and by the new Liberty Hall neighborhood.

The resolution calls safety a "pressing issue" in that area after two pedestrian deaths in two years.
