A Waynesboro woman is in jail after what police describe as a wild and dangerous ride around town Wednesday.
Deborah Cumberland, 53, faces a slew of charges, including felony eluding and driving under the influence.
Police say she stole a pick-up truck, nearly hit some construction workers on North Delphine Avenue, drove into a retaining wall at a recycling center several times on Winchester Avenue and then tried to injure police officers by backing into their cruisers.
There were no serious injuries.
Cumberland is currently being held at Middle River Regional Jail.
