Buckingham Fatal Stabbing Suspect Indicted on First Degree Murder Charges

Posted: Updated:

A murder case against a man investigators say fatally stabbed his girlfriend is moving forward in Buckingham County.

Tuesday, a grand jury indicted Christopher Moseley on one count of first degree murder.

Alexis Artice Rose was stabbed in a grocery store parking lot in Dillwyn on April 30.  The Chief Medical Examiner's Office in Richmond confirms the cause of Rose's death was a stab wound to the pelvis, and the manner of her death was homicide.

The Buckingham Sheriff's Office confirms Rose was not pregnant at the time of her death, despite rumors.

Moseley is currently being held at Piedmont Regional Jail in Farmville.
