Albemarle Police Looking for Vehicle Involved in Hit-and-Run

Albemarle Police are looking for a car involved in a hit-and-run on Interstate 64.     

The two-car crash happened just before 3 p.m. Thursday in the westbound lanes near mile marker 114.    

Police say a white van hit a Nissan and fled the scene.

The two people in the Nissan went to University of Virginia Medical Center to be treated, and are expected to recover from their injuries.
