An Elkton man found guilty of shooting another man during a road rage dispute learned his punishment Thursday.
Rudolph Dean Jr., 47, will spend nine months in jail and one year on supervised probation.
He was convicted of unlawful wounding in April. Prosecutors say Dean shot Robert Crawford IV in the neck after following him to his house in January of last year.
The defense and several supporters argued Dean acted in self-defense.
