The NCAA announced Sunday night the Virginia baseball team will host a Regional in the first round of the 64-team tournament.
UVa wasn't ranked to begin the season, but will host a Regional at Davenport Field for the fourth year in a row, and the seventh time in the last ten years.
The four-team, double-elimination Regional will run May 31-June 3.
Two games will be played Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with a single game played Monday, if necessary.
The Cavaliers are joined by four other teams from the ACC.
North Carolina, NC State, Florida State, and Virginia Tech will all play at home in the first round.
The Hokies are hosting a Regional for the first time in program history.
Tech lost 4-1 against UNC in the ACC title game Sunday in Durham, North Carolina.
Virginia is playing in the NCAA Tournament for the 10th year in a row, and the 13th time in program history.
They were a National Seed and a Super Regional host site in 2010 and 2011.
The eight National Seeds and the rest of the bracket will be announced Monday at noon.
