The Western Albemarle boys and girls soccer teams both captured Jefferson District championships Thursday night in Fluvanna County.

Chase Stokes scored the only goal of the match in the 69th minute to give the Warriors a 1-0 victory over Fluvanna County.

The WAHS boys are the regular season and tournament champs for the third year in a row, and haven't lost a JD match in two years.

The Western Albemarle girls also followed up their regular season championship with a tournament title by beating Charlottesville 2-0.

The Warriors received goals from Anna Sumpter and Rachel Cooke in the win.
