A church in the Shenandoah Valley is collecting supplies for the survivors of Monday's massive twister in Oklahoma.

Mike and Judy Spitzer want to fill up a trailer several times over. It's parked at their church - Victory Worship Center - just south of Staunton. They are collecting bottled water, canned foods, and personal hygiene items.

The Spitzers will take their trailer of supplies to Danville-based God's Pit Crew to deliver to Oklahoma.

"We're blessed here in this valley, and we hardly ever see anything to even approach this magnitude. There's such good people here in the Valley and we know they want to help," said Mike Spitzer.

"We're just going to keep taking trailer loads down until Oklahoma is OK," said Judy Spitzer.

You can drop off donations at the Victory Worship Center. Read the full list of needed supplies below.
