For the third straight year the UVa men's tennis team is playing in the NCAA Tournament finals.  The 2-seed 'Hoos will face top-seed UCLA today at 2pm EST.  Virginia is aiming for its first ever national championship.

On Monday, Virginia beat Georgia in the NCAA semifinals 4-1.  Virginia won the doubles point.    In singles Mitchell Frank won his match 6-3, 6-3.   Julen Uriguen won his match 6-3, 7-5 and Alex Domijan rallied to win his match in 3 sets 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.

"It was an unbelievable match and I am certainly proud of our guys to persevere," said head coach Brian Boland. "Give a lot of credit to Georgia, they played a great match. They fought all the way to the end. Our guys were resilient and were able to finish. It was a great atmosphere to play and a big thanks to our fans who came out here to support us. It felt like we were playing at home today."

For the third straight year Virginia will play a team from Los Angeles in the finals.  Virginia lost to USC the last two years.   The Cavaliers and Bruins haven't met since a 4-2 Virginia victory in the 2010 NCAA quarterfinals.
