The #7 Virginia baseball team swept the three game series against Duke with a 14-6 win Sunday at Davenport Field.
The Cavaliers honored seniors Jared King, Scott Silverstein, Rob Amaro, Reed Gragnani, Colin Harrington, and Whit Mayberry before the game.
The Blue Devils jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the top of the 2nd, but the Wahoos answered with five in the bottom of the inning.
It was a one-run ballgame in the 7th inning, but Virginia scored five in the 7th and two more in the 8th to put the game out of reach.
Gragnani and Joe McCarthy each went 4-for-5 at the plate for UVa.
Gragnani scored three runs, while McCarthy had two RBI and a run scored.
Sophomore Mike Papi drove in four runs from the lead-off position for the second game in a row.
UVa (42-8, 20-7 ACC) scored 37 runs in the three games against the Blue Devils
Virginia will play its final home game of the regular season Tuesday at 6pm against VCU.
