Augusta School Board Votes for Employee Pay Raises

More money is coming to the employees of Augusta County schools.
School board members unanimously voted Thursday to instate a five-year plan, improving salary scales for teachers. The News Virginian is reporting many employees will get roughly 4 percent pay increases.
The board also decided to give bus drivers and part-time cafeteria workers an option between bigger raises or full health benefits.
