The U.S. Chamber of Commerce is recognizing Virginia as one of the top three states for innovation and entrepreneurship.

Governor Bob McDonnell's office says the report highlighted the state's one-stop business program that lets entrepreneurs complete the steps required to register their businesses and find resources to help them grow.

Virginia ranked sixth in the Chamber's report last year.

Among other findings from the report released this week was that Virginia ranked high for its concentration and growth of science, technology, engineering and mathematics jobs.

According to the report, Virginia also has the highest share of business establishments in high-tech industries.
