Posted: Updated:

Charlottesville police are still looking for a third suspect after arresting two people for firing shots and stealing a car last week.

Jamel Jackson, 23, and an unidentified 17-year-old juvenile are charged with robbery, assault and grand larceny. Investigators say they robbed a man along Longwood Drive and stole his yellow Nissan Xterra late last Thursday night.

One of the suspects fired shots at the driver as he ran off, but the victim was only grazed by a bullet. Officers found the vehicle abandoned a short time later.

Police are still looking for a third suspect. Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000.
