Seniors at an Albemarle County High School are showcasing their artwork this week. The 2013 Western Albemarle Senior Art Show kicked off Monday in the school cafeteria.
The show features ceramics, crafts, photography, and digital images students have worked on over the years. The participating students need to have taken at least two visual arts classes.
One student says he is excited to show off what he has accomplished.
"This is something that I have to continue with, I've found so much joy out of this and it really helps with me moving through life," said Stephen Krenitsky, senior at WAHS.
A reception will be held Wednesday night to recognize the seniors. The art show is free and open to the public through Friday.
