Virginia Men's Tennis Wins ACC Championship

The Virginia men's tennis team won the ACC championship for the seventh year in a row, and for the 9th time in the last ten years, as the Cavaliers beat Wake Forest 4-1 Sunday.

The match started outside in Cary, North Carolina, but was moved to the indoor facility at Duke University due to rain.

UVA (24-0) lost the doubles point against the Demon Deacons, but Mitchell Frank, Julen Uriguen, Alex Domijan, and Jarmere Jenkins all picked up singles victories for the 'Hoos.

With the victory, the #2 Cavaliers earn the ACC's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.

The field of 64 will be unveiled on Tuesday, and first and second round action will occur at sixteen campus sites on May 10-11.
