It will be an all American final in the singles bracket of the Boyd Tinsley Clay Court Classic at the Boar's Head Sports Club Sunday, as Shelby Rogers and Allie Kiick will square off in the championship match.
Rogers defeated Patricia Mayr-Achleitner 7-6 (5), 4-2 (Ret.) in her semifinal match Saturday, while the 17-year-old Kiick beat Madison Brengle 6-4, 6-3.
Kiick's victory sends her to her first-ever $50,000 USTA Pro Circuit singles final.
The singles championship match will take place Sunday at 11 AM at the BHSC.
Rogers will also be playing in the doubles finals.
The 20-year-old will team with Nicole Gibbs against CoCo Vandeweghe and Nicola Slater following the singles match.
