There are still no leads after Charlottesville police say three men robbed a driver at gun point and stole the vehicle Thursday night.

The victim's SUV was found by police overnight, but there is still little information.  Now the Charlottesville Police Department is turning to the community to track down the suspects.

The robbery happened around 9:30 p.m. Thursday in Charlottesville.  Police say a man in a yellow Nissan Xterra was on Longwood Drive. He stopped to pick up a friend when three men approached him.

Officers say one of the suspects pulled a gun and the men took the driver's wallet. The driver then got out of his car and ran away. The suspect with the gun fired several shots at the driver. One of the bullets grazed him but he did not require medical attention.

The suspects then took off in the Nissan Xterra. Albemarle County police found the SUV shortly after midnight on Wahoo Way and it is currently being processed for evidence.

The Charlottesville Police Department is asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 434-977-4000.
