Hollister in Augusta Breaks Ground on 50,000-Square-Foot Expansion

Posted: Updated:

An Augusta County company that makes cancer care products is kicking off construction on a multimillion-dollar expansion.

Hollister in Stuarts Draft broke ground Wednesday on a 50,000-square-foot expansion, thanks to funding from Governor Bob McDonnell. The plant manufactures ostomy, wound care and continence products.

Hollister distributes its products worldwide and management says they're trying to keep up with demand.

Management also says construction won't disrupt business. The expansion should be finished by May of next year.
