UVA Basketball Will Face VCU Next Two Seasons

Posted: Updated:

The ACC announced the men's basketball league opponents for all 15 institutions for the 2013-14 season.

Virginia will take on Miami, Notre Dame, North Carolina and Syracuse at John Paul Jones Arena.

Most notably, the Cavaliers also announced that they will face VCU in a home-and-home season starting in 2013-14 in Charlottesville. The following year, they will play at VCU.

"The ACC schedule will be as challenging as ever, especially with the additions of Pitt, Notre Dame and Syracuse," Virginia head coach Tony Bennett said. "Our fans played a key role in our success at John Paul Jones Arena last season. With the addition of VCU to our non-conference schedule, we're going to need them to once again create a great home court advantage at JPJ."

Virginia's entire 2013-14 men's basketball schedule will be released at a later date.
