The Virginia Tech football team held its Maroon-White spring game Saturday at Lane Stadium

Quarterback Logan Thomas completed 16 of 29 passes for 214 yards and three interceptions.

Head coach Frank Beamer says, "He had a great day here a couple days ago. He had a couple there early that probably weren't such good throws, but I think Logan always gives you the ability that he's going to be right back. He's not a guy that's an up and down guy."

Thomas adds, "People are going to say that I had a bad day today, but I can't complain with how I played. I threw the ball where I wanted to. I hit my spots. I was accurate. So I really couldn't complain in that area."

Der'woun Green and Donovan Riley both returned Thomas' passes for touchdowns.

The Hokies rushed the ball 41 times for just 23 yards on the ground.
